Word of Life Christian Center - A Church That Worships The True and Living God.
Our Purpose:

The purpose of this ministry is to encourage deployed members to continue to grow spiritually while deployed. This ministry will keep deployed members abreast on current church happenings, and accommodate/meet any needs they or their families may have during this time of separation. Members returning from deployments may have a hard time transitioning back into the body if they feel left out; are unfamiliar with new people or new protocols, or they feel they have been forgotten about. We want to keep them prayed up, loved on, and “in the loop” throughout their deployment and even as they return

What to Expect While You’re Deployed

Expect to receive, through email, a weekly newsletter with all the latest church happenings to include;

·         New members information
·         Ministry events/updates
·         Brief overview of Sunday and Wednesday teachings
·         Encouraging scriptures/devotionals
·         Prayer requests

Expect to receive a monthly “spiritual deployment kit” that will include;

·         Service CD’s
·         Letters and cards from family/friends
·         Snacks/ hygiene items
·         Reading material

What your family should expect while you’re deployed

We understand that this time will be a difficult time of separation for your family. It is our desire to do what we can to accommodate any needs you and your family may have. During your time away, the Yellow Ribbon Ministry is able and willing to meet any household needs to include keeping your lawn manicured, providing help with meals periodically, helping with household chores, and accommodating any travel needs to and from church.
The Yellow Ribbon Ministry also desires to keep your family encouraged while you are away. We will have monthly fellowships with all family members of those who are deployed within the church body.  The purpose of the fellowships would be to encourage each other spiritually while still having a fun time out. Fellowships will include, but are not limited to bowling, movies, dinner, and game nights.

We thank you so much for your service and it is our desire to make this transition as comfortable for you and your family as possible.
